Get Back to Sport Without Going Backwards
Sports injuries in the foot, ankle and lower limb are usually about load - doing too much, too soon, or the body not tolerating the demand placed on it. Treating the sore tissue alone often means the injury returns the moment you ramp training back up.
We assess the injury and the factors behind it - training load, footwear, biomechanics and strength - then build a graded return-to-sport plan that lets you rebuild without repeatedly breaking down.

Sports Injury Assessment FAQs
The questions patients ask us most about sports injury assessment.
Should I stop training completely?
Rarely. Complete rest often deconditions you and delays return. We usually modify load - adjusting volume, surface or footwear - so tissue can settle while you keep as much activity as the injury allows.
Do you do running assessments?
Yes. Where it's relevant we analyse your gait and running mechanics to understand the load pattern driving the injury and guide footwear, orthoses and rehab.
How soon can I get back to my sport?
It depends on the injury and how long it's been present. After assessing you we'll give a realistic timeframe and a staged plan, rather than a one-size-fits-all answer.
Can you help with footwear and orthotics?
Yes. Where mechanics or footwear are contributing, we advise on suitable shoes and can prescribe custom orthoses as part of the plan.
