Your care starts before you reach the treatment room.
Our reception and patient care team are usually the first people you'll speak with - on the phone, or when you arrive at High Street. They handle the parts that get in the way of care: finding you a time, checking what your health fund covers, and processing your claim on the spot through HICAPS.
They'll also tell you honestly what an appointment will cost and what rebate you're entitled to before you commit, whether that's private health, a Medicare care plan, DVA or NDIS.

Getting It Right
The diagnosis is the whole treatment plan.
Assessment here involves more than locating where it hurts. We take a detailed history, examine the foot and ankle hands-on, and analyse how you stand, walk and load the limb - because the cause is often not where the pain is.
Where it helps confirm the picture, we use in-clinic diagnostic ultrasound to see soft-tissue structures in real time, and refer for X-ray or MRI when a bony problem is suspected. You leave knowing what's going on and what happens next.

If you have been referred by a GP or specialist, or you're coming under a Medicare care plan, bring the referral and any imaging along - it helps us make the first appointment count.
