Appointments & Booking

Appointments & booking

Do I need a referral to see a podiatrist?

No. You can book directly with us without a GP referral. If you have a referral - for example under a Medicare Chronic Disease Management (EPC) plan or from a specialist - bring it along, as it may affect any rebate you're entitled to.

How quickly can I be seen?

We hold capacity for same-day and next-day appointments where a case warrants priority access. The fastest way to be seen is to call the clinic directly on 1300 470 220.

What are your opening hours?

We're open Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, with Saturday appointments available on request. A dedicated podiatric surgical clinic runs on Thursdays.

Where are you located and is there parking?

We're at 1/135-137 High Street, Penrith NSW 2750, centrally located and easily reached from Kingswood, St Marys, Glenmore Park, Emu Plains, Werrington and the Blue Mountains. Street and nearby public parking are available close to the clinic.

Fees & Rebates

Fees & rebates

How much will my appointment cost?

Fees depend on the type of appointment and any treatment involved. We're happy to explain the fees and any rebates before you book - just call us on 1300 470 220. We offer HICAPS on-the-spot private health claiming to make it easy.

Can I claim through Medicare?

Eligible patients can be seen under a Medicare Chronic Disease Management (EPC) plan arranged by their GP, which provides a rebate towards a set number of visits per year. This is common for people with diabetes or other chronic conditions affecting the feet.

Do you accept private health insurance?

Yes. If you have extras cover that includes podiatry, you can claim on the spot through HICAPS and only pay the gap. The rebate depends on your fund and level of cover.

Do you see DVA and NDIS patients?

Yes. We see eligible DVA patients and can work with NDIS participants under appropriate plan arrangements. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.

Your Visit

Your visit

What happens at my first appointment?

We take a detailed history, examine your foot and ankle hands-on, and assess how you move. Where useful we use in-clinic diagnostic ultrasound. You'll leave with a clear diagnosis and a staged treatment plan. Allow around 30 to 45 minutes.

What should I bring?

Bring the shoes you wear most often, any orthotics you currently use, a list of your medications, and any previous scans, X-rays or reports relating to your feet or ankles. Bring your referral and health fund or Medicare details if relevant.

Will I get a diagnosis on the day?

In most cases, yes. We'll explain what's going on and outline a treatment plan at the appointment. Occasionally we'll arrange further imaging to confirm the diagnosis before finalising the plan.

Treatments & Conditions

Treatments & conditions

What conditions do you treat?

We treat the full range of foot and ankle problems - heel and arch pain, sports injuries, bunions and toe deformities, nerve and forefoot pain, nail and skin conditions, diabetic foot care, and complex or unresolved cases. See our Conditions and Services pages for detail.

Do you offer treatments other than orthotics?

Yes. As well as prescribed orthoses, we deliver advanced in-house therapies including shockwave therapy and ultrasound-guided injection therapy, and we have a Registered Specialist Podiatric Surgeon on the team for cases that genuinely need surgical care.

Can you help if previous treatment hasn't worked?

Absolutely. We regularly take on unresolved and complex cases and offer independent second opinions. A thorough reassessment often finds a cause that was missed, or a treatment approach that better fits the problem.
